Here is our Final Production Company Name and Logo all put together on Adobe Premier. We did try changing the font later on as it looked pixelated but there were techniqual difficulties trying to keep the logo in the background the same so we left the font as it was because we didn't want to ruin the logo. We used a dip to white in the end to compliment the company names colour as it was white too. We kept the name white as it connotes emptiness and white can easily get dirty and destroyed. The music we used in the background synced very well with the smoke effect we had so we used it for our logo.

AUDIENCE RESEARCH - General Research
For my audience research I did extra research in order to get accurate answers as I knew in my questionnaire I wouldn't have got each age group to reply to my survey. So by doing this tally chart I was able to reach out to a lot of people to reply to this one question. I was very lucky in the sense that I knew people from every age group that is on the tally chart, so from 15-27. I had at least 2 people from each age group to fill out this chart. From the results I can tell 42 people out of the 48 I asked said they love psychological horror. This secures the result I got in my survey because the most chosen genre was psychological horror. I am definitely going to make my trailer based on the sub-genre psychological horror.

AUDIENCE RESEARCH - Findings/Analysis of Questionnaire
For my audience research I asked a range of people to fill out the questionnaire I created on SurveyMonkey but I only got around 20 responses. This is a video of me discussing my findings and analysing each question. I have analysed questions 1-4 in the video.

Audience Research Rationale
For my research rationale I would be doing a variety of audience research in order to collect information and data so that my horror trailer, poster is mainly catered to my target audience. My target audience would be from the ages 15-27 as I have easy access to students in my sixth form, out of school and young adults. This will give me an indication of exactly what my target audience would want to see in a horror movie/ what they fear the most etc. The reason why I have chosen this specific age range is because its mainly from this age range that people love to go watch horror and I want to see if there is any difference between the big age gap in what they prefer to see in a horror.
For my audience research, the different type of research methods I will do is one being observational research where I will do interviews on specific individuals, mainly focusing on a range of different ages. I will also interview a group of people asking them what they fear the most and why they watch horror movies to help decide what to include in my trailer. I will conduct more research doing online surveys and publishing it on various social medias where I can reach a wider audience and get as many opinions as the more research I conduct, the more I will know on what specific conventions to include in my very own trailer. I will also study my target audiences reactions to certain horror trailers so I can get an idea of what they physically look like when watching horror and what really makes them scared and not.
In addition to this, I will be conducting market research like see how horror films are marketed in the real world and how they get audience intrigued to watch more. I will also be analyzing many horror clips on the web, this will help me evaluate what is vital in a horror trailer and what isn't worth adding in your trailer. I will look at what common theme is shared throughout all the trailers I analyse, for example if there are more supernatural creatures, monsters or if it is more physiological. By looking at theorists ideas and theories applied to most horrors, I will be able to understand what conventions are applied in horror and how it's done to make it scary. This is going to help me in the near future when I start planning my trailer as I will be confident in what I am including in my trailer as I will know it will definitely appeal to my audience.
The resources I will need in order to conduct this research is a phone where I can socialize with my target audience for opinions, I would need the web to create my survey and to share it out where I will get the most accurate results. I will also need a camera to film my audiences reactions and when I'm interviewing them. Maybe a pen and paper to note down notes when interviewing my audience where I can note down specific things each individual says.

Introduction to Brief
Hello, my name is Priyanha and I am 18 years old. For my A2 media project I have been asked to create a horror trailer including a front cover magazine and a movie poster overall. I am not a big fan of horror movies but i am very excited for this upcoming project because I know its going to be a challenge for me and I will also be watching as many horror movies possible to help me overcome this fear I have every time I watch horror as I easily get scared with anything.. The first time I ever watched a horror film was with my parents on Halloween. I wasn't expecting to watch a horror film at first but as the movie started I realized it was going to haunt me. The movie was called 'I know what you did last summer', this movie really affected me because the movie included a villain which was a hooded guy and ever since then I was scared to hang my coat on the coat hanger in my room, I was even more terrified of seeing black figures anywhere I go.
Despite the fact, that I do not enjoy watching horror, there is always a part of me that likes something about horror and the plot itself of each movie which is why I always find myself watching horrors just to be scared and under my blanket most of the time. I have watched many horror movies and most of them is me being forced to watch it. Certain horror movies don't actually scare me at all, it's just that it creates tension and that uneasiness feeling due to the visuals. Some of the movies I have watched are: Sinister, Annabelle Creation, The Babdook, Don't Breathe, Hush, Pyscho, The Cabin in the Woods and many more. Considering I am someone who is not a fan of horror and to have watched so many movies it says something about how these movies are put together and the drive it brings you to watch it.
